I can't wait til I graduate from college next year. Why did I think it was a good idea to major in biology? Little did I know I'd have to take just as many chemistry and physics classes as biology classes. >:/ Blech!

I'm actually thinking about applying for an internship at a zoo in a neighboring city! That should be fun. Hopefully they'll hire me full-time once I graduate, and I can actually apply what I learned in college in the workplace! *shockgasp!* Won't that be nice?

Hello peoples. So I've practically disappeared off the face of the internet... Oh well, what can ya do? I'm majoring in biology composite teaching; therefore, none of my projects or assignments have anything even remotely related to the visual arts (except for the occasional graph, lol). So I've definitely been neglecting my DA account except for the occasional comment on someone else's work, or +fav'ing the occasional picture. Anyway, this darn semester's almost over and I'll have lots of free time (hopefully). So yay!

Anyway, guess WHAT! I just got engaged to the most amazing guy EVER! (You can blame him for my lack of pic submissions if you want, lol) We've been dating since last summer, and I guess I haven't mentioned it since I haven't even written in my DA journal since a little before we hooked up, lol. Good times. We have a wedding date set for January 6th of 2007. I'm way excited! And I know it's gonna come up fast, too. Anybody got any engagement/wedding/marriage advice? lol

i hate DA sometimes cuz DA HATES MEEEE!!!!!!! I don't know if this has been happening to anybody else lately, but my drawings are taking FOREVER to post! I mean, i'll upload something but not see it on my user page til the next day. Has this been happening to anybody else? And if so, does anybody know WHY??? *rants some more* Phew! Ok, i'm done.

Anyhoo, I've been drawing more realism! Yay! It's fun! Although there's definitely room for improvement... I'm very unhappy with my abilities right now, and the people that i draw don't look like their references. They'll *resemble* them, but they're not exactly the same, which drives me crazy. >_< Oh well. Maybe eventually i'll get better. I've discovered that i prefer drawing with pen, too. So i need to get myself some better ones. Yay for art supplies shopping!

And hooray for my active social life! lol I've been out with my friends very often lately. I better take advantage of that before school starts up again and i have to study myself to death.
